Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner- Emergency Medicine- Hamptons

In the role of an Advanced Care Provider (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner), you will provide concierge emergency medical care to Sollis Health patients in our clinics as well as conduct concierge medical house call visits to Sollis Health patients and treat them accordingly, with the supervision/oversight of an attending Physician. This is a pivotal role as part of a growing organization providing seamless care to both adult and pediatric patients for cases that would usually come into an emergency department or urgent care.

Position Details:

• Per Diem position at our Water Mill/Hamptons location from May to September.
• You will work within our Center and conduct house calls as needed (0-3 house calls per day).

Responsibilities:

1. Perform medical evaluations and formulate a differential diagnosis and treatment plan, whether in our facilities, the patient’s home, or other outside settings, within the scope of emergency medicine.
2. Perform medical procedures including IV access, fluid and medication administration, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, POC testing, and EKGs.
3. Collaborate closely with a team of Physicians, nurses, and technicians to support your care delivery.
4. Document clinical evaluations and treatment plans accurately in Sollis’ EHR.
5. Work with the Medical Director and clinical team to ensure policy adherence and high-quality care.
6. Provide empathetic, patient-centered communication to ensure patient and family comfort and understanding.
7. Coordinate additional care with Care Coordination, house calls teams, or Medical Partners.
8. Participate in operational projects as needed to support overall success.
9. Ensure the house call provider bag is stocked and ready at all times.
10. Transfer responsibility for pending labs or imaging to clinic providers at shift end.
11. Perform any related duties as requested.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license to practice in New York.
• DEA license required.
• Preferred 2-3 years of emergency or urgent care experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required upon hire.
• For PAs, NCCPA certification is required.

Compensation:

Range: $90-$100 per hour. Actual pay depends on experience, education, and location.
