Full Time or Part Time - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine - Water Mill, NY ($88-$98/hr)

In the role of an Advanced Care Provider (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner), you will provide concierge emergency medical care to Sollis Health patients in our clinics as well as conduct concierge medical house call visits to Sollis Health patients and treat them accordingly, with supervision/oversight of an attending Physician. This role is pivotal in a growing organization providing seamless care to both adult and pediatric patients, handling cases typically seen in emergency departments or urgent care.

Full Time Opportunity in Water Mill, NY (Hamptons): 36 hours/week - 7a-7p in the busy season (May-September) and 9a-5p in the off season (October - May).

Open to part-time candidates as well, 16-24 hours/week.

Responsibilities

1. Perform medical evaluations and formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans in various settings outside of traditional clinics, including patient homes, for urgent and emergent care within emergency medicine scope.
2. Perform medical procedures such as IV access, fluid and medication administration, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, POC testing, and EKGs.
3. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and technicians to support patient care.
4. Document clinical evaluations and treatment plans in Sollis’ EHR.
5. Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical team to adhere to policies and deliver high-quality care.
6. Ensure patient and family comfort, communicate empathetically, and answer questions professionally.
7. Coordinate additional care with Care Coordination, house calls teams, or Medical Partners.
8. Participate in operational projects to contribute to overall success.
9. Maintain the house call provider bag stock and readiness.
10. Ensure proper transfer of pending labs or imaging responsibilities at shift end.
11. Perform related duties as requested.

Experience

Candidates should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree and graduation from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license and ability to practice in New York.
• DEA certification.
• Preferred 2-3 years of experience in emergency departments or urgent care centers.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required upon hire.
• For PAs, NCCPA certification is required.

• Tech savviness, with ability to learn systems like Slack, AthenaCare, Salesforce, and Humanity.
• Excellent procedural skills, including phlebotomy, IV placement, medication administration, etc.

Compensation

Range: $90-$100 per hour. Actual pay depends on experience, education, location, and other factors. This range applies to New York candidates only; pay may differ outside NY.
