HeartWell Cardiology in Winter Park, Florida is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join Dr. Sharma in our outpatient clinic. The role is full-time, in-office, with a start date in early November and a clear path to independent clinic days.

You will see cardiology patients, order tests, manage medications, perform clearance evaluations, and document in eClinicalWorks, with training and supervision from the physician.

Qualifications

• Florida-licensed PA-C or APRN (NP) in good standing, or license pending with an expected date; DEA registration or eligibility
• Cardiology or internal medicine experience strongly preferred; new graduates with a cardiology rotation are encouraged to apply
• Confident with patients and clear in communication
• Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• - See new and established cardiology patients: consultations, follow-ups, pre- and post-procedure visits, and hospital follow-up
• - Order and review diagnostic testing (ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, cardiac monitoring, vascular ultrasound) in collaboration with Dr. Sharma
• - Manage medications, including anticoagulation, lipid, hypertension and heart failure regimens
• - Perform cardiac clearance evaluations
• - Handle clinical phone triage, refills, prior authorizations and result review with the clinical team
• - Document in eClinicalWorks and close charts the same day

Job description

HeartWell Cardiology is an independent, physician-owned interventional and vascular cardiology practice in Winter Park, Florida. We provide preventive heart health, advanced diagnostics, and interventional and vascular cardiology to a growing patient base across Central Florida. We are hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join Dr. Raghav Sharma, MD, RPVI, in our outpatient clinic, with a start date in early November.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will see patients in clinic as the practice's advanced practice provider, working directly with Dr. Sharma. New graduates are welcome; you will be trained and supervised by the physician, with a clear path to independent clinic days. This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
