Job summary

Village Heart & Vein in Lady Lake, Florida, seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team in a fully outpatient role.

You will work alongside cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers with autonomy and physician-led support in a clinic-based setting, Monday through Friday, with no on-call, weekends, or major holidays.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified NP or PA with cardiology experience.
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Strong clinical judgement and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage cardiovascular patients including CAD, HF, HTN, AF.
• Provide routine follow-up visits and chronic cardiovascular care.
• Review and interpret EKGs, cardiac testing, imaging, and labs.
• Manage cardiovascular medications and monitor responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to develop individualized plans.
• Coordinate testing, referrals and follow-up care.
• Educate patients about conditions, medications and lifestyle changes.

Village Heart & Vein

Village Heart & Vein is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology team in Lady Lake, Florida. Village Heart & Vein is a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).

This fully outpatient role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists and established Advanced Practice Providers while caring for patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. The position offers a Monday - Friday clinic schedule with no call, weekends, or major holidays, along with autonomy and support from a collaborative, physician-led team.

What You'll Do

• Provide routine follow-up visits and ongoing management of chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Review and interpret EKGs, cardiac testing, imaging, and laboratory results
• Manage cardiovascular medications and monitor patients’ responses to treatment
• Collaborate with cardiologists to develop individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate testing, referrals, and follow-up care
• Educate patients about their conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes to support heart health
