Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care, part of the UPMC-GoHealth Team, is seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our urgent care network across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time roles.

Our centers feature EPIC EMR, on-site X-ray, and robust support to deliver efficient, high-quality care. Ideal candidates have emergency medicine or urgent care experience, a Master's degree, and NCCPA/NCCP/AANP certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time Emergency Medicine or 2 years Urgent Care required.
• Master's degree and NCCPA/ANCC or AANP certification required depending on role.
• Experience treating patients of all ages in acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients with diverse clinical concerns.
• Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants as part of the clinical team.
• Utilize EPIC EMR, Point-of-C care testing and on-site X-ray to support patient care.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility and support wellness days while covering anchored centers.

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area, and locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience required. Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Experience treating patients from all ages in an acute care setting required.
• Physician Assistants: Master's degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required.
