Job summary

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for the greater Pittsburgh area and locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. You will join a networked urgent care team supported by UPMC Health System, with on-site imaging, EPIC EMR, and a focus on efficient, patient-centered care.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and a schedule that suits clinical excellence, with weekday shifts and weekend coverage as required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience required.
• Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required for Physicians Assistants; Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required for Nurse Practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care/emergency medicine services.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, casting, splinting).
• Read and interpret EKGs and X-rays.
• Collaborate with a clinical team and lead on-site staff at assigned centers.

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area, and locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience required.


• Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.


• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.


• Experience treating patients newborn and up in an acute care setting required.


• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required.


• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required.
