Job summary

Up Clinics is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) in California to join a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic providing occupational medicine and urgent care services. The ideal candidate will conduct pre-employment evaluations, manage workplace injuries, and participate in preventive care for employees across diverse industries.

The role requires a CA PA-C license, BLS/CPR certification (ACLS a plus), and DOT certification or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Current and valid PA-C license in California.
• BLS/CPR certification (ACLS a plus).
• Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, or Primary Care preferred
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and time management skills
• DOT certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Conducting pre-employment physicals, DOT exams, and return-to-work evaluations
• Evaluating and managing work-related injuries and illnesses
• Performing minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and employers for continuity of care
• Documenting clinical findings accurately and timely in EMR
• Supporting wellness initiatives and preventive care programs
