Job summary

Urology Centers of Alabama is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Radiation Oncology team in Birmingham, Alabama. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop or expand expertise in Radiation Oncology within a collaborative multidisciplinary setting.

The APP will manage follow-up visits, treatment-related evaluations, symptom management, imaging and lab review, and coordinate care with referring physicians and oncology colleagues, while

Qualifications

• Certified PA or APRN with Alabama licensure and DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS as required.
• Oncology or Radiation Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates with oncology exposure encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Radiation Oncology clinic.
• Manage follow-up and survivorship visits.
• Evaluate patients during and after radiation therapy.
• Assess and manage treatment-related symptoms.
• Coordinate care with radiation oncologists and the oncology team.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation.
