Riverview Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Noblesville/Westfield area location. The role includes obtaining patient histories, performing exams, writing orders, and counseling patients under physician supervision.

Qualified candidates will have Indiana license and complete PA training; minimum experience in clinical settings is preferred. We offer comprehensive care teams and opportunities to grow within a community hospital system.

• Order, perform and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic and invasive procedures as appropriate.
• Following physician observation and approval of technique, perform therapeutic or corrective measures as well as some outpatient family medicine procedures as needed.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists, services, and community resources (i.e. physical therapy, other subspecialists and social services).
• Provide preventative care and counseling on health and wellness related conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications as needed.
• The supervising physician or physician designee reviews all patient encounters no later than (72) seventy‑two hours after the APP has seen the patient. (100% of charts in first 3 years of employment; 50% of charts thereafter.

Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for obtaining complete and comprehensive patient histories, performing physical examinations, writing orders, responding to patient questions, and providing information to patients and their families. Exercises judgment within their areas of competence provided that a member of the supervising physician team shall have the ultimate responsibility for patient care.

Education Requirements

• Minimum: Graduate of an approved/accredited program

Experience Requirements

• Minimum: One (1) year of clinical experience
• Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in medical office

License/Certification Requirements

• Valid license to practice in the state of Indiana
• Controlled Substances Registration license in the state of Indiana
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or better in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Masters or better in Physician Assistant Studies.
