Medrina is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our growing physician-owned group in Superior, WI. The role focuses on post-acute care in a Skilled Nursing Facility, including orthopedic rehab, stroke management, and pain control, working with a collaborative lead provider.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends, offering strong work-life balance, autonomy, and access to a national provider network.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin PA license
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain before start
• Minimum 1 year PA clinical experience (SNF/geriatrics/IM/Rehab preferred)
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patients
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management
• Comfortable working independently in SNF

We are a growing, physician-owned medical group expanding in Superior, WI seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role focuses on post-acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic recovery, stroke management, and pain management, working alongside a collaborative lead provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Manage patients with orthopedic rehab needs, post-stroke care, and chronic pain conditions
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in Wisconsin
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start) - Required

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
