Job summary

Meritus Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join Meritus Neurology in Hagerstown. This primarily outpatient role provides care for adults with neurological conditions and supports inpatient consultations, working closely with neurologists, nurses, and office staff.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, provide follow-up care, educate patients and families, and coordinate care across outpatient and hospital settings with the neurology

Qualifications

• Neurology experience preferred; strong adult medicine experience will also be considered.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• National certification through the NCCPA.

Meritus Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join Meritus Neurology in Hagerstown. In this primarily outpatient role, you will care for adults with neurological conditions and support inpatient consultations while working closely with neurologists, nurses, and office staff.

Position Highlights

• Inpatient neurology consult support

Clinical Practice

Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, provide follow-up care, and educate patients and families. The practice cares for people with conditions such as migraine, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy, dementia, tremor, and other neurological concerns.

You will partner with the neurology team and referring clinicians to help patients navigate ongoing care across outpatient and hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current or eligible Maryland Physician Assistant licensure
• National certification through the NCCPA
• Neurology experience preferred; strong adult medicine experience will also be considered
