Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice (NP/PA) in Neonatology to provide expert neonatal care in a Level II NICU. The role involves direct patient care for neonates, collaboration with attending physicians, and ensuring high-quality outcomes in a busy tertiary center.

The position requires Pennsylvania licensure, board certification, BLS/PALS, and the ability to work 24-hour shifts. Credentialing is anticipated within ~90 days, with competitive hourly compensation and malpractice

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania license required; IMLC accepted.
• Board certification required.
• Orientation includes one full day of Epic setup, photo ID processing, and shadowing with a facility APP.
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight and care for neonates in a Level II 3-bed NICU, collaborating with attending physicians.
• See babies born and not admitted to the NICU as needed.
• Work 24-hour shifts from 8a to 8a.
• Handle 3–6 patient encounters per shift.
• Maintain proficiency in procedures including UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations.

Job Details:

• Provide daily oversight and care for neonates in a Level II 3-bed NICU, working in collaboration with attending physicians

• Must be proficient in the following required skills: UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations
