Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a Neonatal APP to oversee daily care in a Level II NICU. The clinician will work alongside MDs to manage newborns and coordinate procedures.

The role requires active PA/NP Neonatal certification and proficiencies in critical neonatal procedures, empowered by Epic EMR, with a strong emphasis on team-based patient care.

Qualifications

• Active PA license or IMLC or have started processing
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP
• Proficiency in UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, intubations; Epic EMR proficiency; team-based care

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily care of neonates in Level II NICU
• APP’s work in collaboration with the MD’s but it is the APP that oversees the daily care of the babies
• Collaborate with attending physicians for patient management
• Perform procedures including UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations
• Provide care for newborns in the nursery as needed
