Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to join our network as independent contractors delivering health readiness services to U.S. military members in Maryland.

The role centers on weekend work with occasional weekday coverage as needed at various locations, including remote military installations. As part of the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), you will review health histories, interview service members, identify urgent concerns, and document findings in our proprietary records

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state is required.
• CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
• Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology preferred.
• Able to travel, with weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results in the service member's medical record using a proprietary system.
