Location: Kings County - Brooklyn, NY 11203

Position Type: Regular Full-Time

Salary Range: $131,127 - $174,836 per year

Shift: 1 (Day and Night shift availability, with alternate weekends)

Responsibilities

• Provides and elicits direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population on the inpatient floors.
• Develops an assessment and therapeutic plan and renders ongoing patient care.
• Orders and interprets appropriate lab tests, radiology, diagnostic procedures, and writes prescriptions.
• Performs specific procedures, including drawing blood specimens for testing, blood counts, urinalysis, smears, etc.
• Initiates consultations and refers patient for special testing, if needed.
• Participates in daily rounds to observe and record pertinent progress of patients, updating and summarization of charts, writing orders and progress notes, and notifying the Physician in charge of the patient's condition/status, when appropriate.
• Participates in IDT rounds and conferences, lectures, and grand rounds for the service.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• At least 1-2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Wages and Benefits

• Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure.
• Estimated annual total value of compensation package: $144,239** - $192,319**, including baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors.
• 401(k) Company Contribution: 3% immediately vested; additional 7% after one year of service.
