Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Michigan PA licensure.
• Current Federal DEA Schedule II license.
• Diagnostic, therapeutic, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records appropriate medical history.
• Performs and records findings from physical examination.
• Initiates tests needed for evaluation and treats per protocol.
• Prescribes medication per Michigan law and supervising physician agreement.
• Counsels patients on preventative care and disease management.
• Leads and mentors non-physician providers at the site.
