The Physician Assistant of the Phase 1 Cancer Clinical Trials Office Research Program will work closely with the Disease and Modality Team Leader, Attending Physicians, and Program Director of the Early Phase Program. The PA reports to the Phase 1 Disease and Modality Physician Leader regarding patient care and collaborates with the Sr. Director for Cancer Clinical Research Administration and the Director of the Cancer Clinical Trials Office to screen eligible patients for trial and provide care to patients on early phase cancer clinical trials, within the scope of practice and in accordance with the clinical research protocol. The Physician Assistant writes orders for the RN and staff to carry out.
