Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant for a hospital-based, full-time role in Arlington, Virginia. You will work closely with Interventional Radiologists to provide inpatient and outpatient minimally invasive care across the patient care continuum.

The role encompasses patient evaluation, peri-procedural management, post-procedure follow-up, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to advance a high-quality IR program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program with NCCPA certification.
• Active Virginia PA license or eligibility.
• DEA certification or eligibility.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history and physical exams.
• Evaluate patients before and after interventional procedures.
• Round on hospitalized patients and coordinate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Develop treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery.
• Document encounters and procedural care accurately.
• Perform procedures within credentialed scope of practice.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.

This hospital-based position provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with Interventional Radiologists in delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient minimally invasive procedural care.

The Physician Assistant will play an integral role in patient evaluation, peri-procedural management, post-procedure follow-up, and multidisciplinary collaboration while contributing to the continued growth of a highly respected Interventional Radiology program.
