The Orthopedic Clinic in East Central Florida is seeking a Physician Assistant to support Interventional Pain Management and Spine physicians in our outpatient clinic, assist in surgery, and join a four-location practice. The PA will evaluate patients with courtesy, provide medical treatment and coordinate with the team to deliver high-quality orthopedic care.

Qualifications

• Previous orthopedics experience in a clinical outpatient setting
• Experience in urgent care and surgery
• Ability to maintain detailed patient records and HIPAA compliance
• Strong problem solving, organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsabilités

• Monitor, record and report patient status in the EHR system
• Order and conduct diagnostic tests and imaging as needed
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies
• Maintain detailed records of treatment history and care plan
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess and implement care plans
• Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Prioritize work during high workload periods to expedite care
