Job summary

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) seeks a Physician Assistant or Acute Care NP to join the Internal Medicine team in the Perrysburg/Toledo area. You will provide comprehensive patient care across services, performing assessments, diagnoses and treatment with collaboration from a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes education on preventive care, disease management and evidence-based practice, with a 7-on/7-off schedule model and a patient-centered approach to 18+ patients.

Qualifications

• Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
• Acute Care Certification for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
• Master’s degree for Physician Assistant applicants.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state where care is provided.
• Certificate of Authority to practice.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care across Internal Medicine services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients 18+ years of age, including physical examinations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and prescribing medications.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history and assessments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
