Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred.
• New York State license and current registration as a Physician Assistant.
• National NCCPA certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Full credentialing documents including PA license, board certification and DEA as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in collaboration with the physician and medical teams.
• Assess patients’ needs and develop care plans with the physician.
• Provide health teaching, guidance and counseling to patients.
• Make appropriate referrals with physician concurrence.
• Perform complete physical examinations using standard methods.
• Order diagnostic tests and medications in collaboration with the physician.
