Responsibilities

• Patient care including assessment, management, diagnosis, treatment planning and orders as per NYS law and hospital policy.
• Accurately document patient records, orders and progress notes.
• Collaborate with medical teams and staff.
• Provide consultation to nursing and ancillary teams and staff.
• Coordinate with supervising physicians and care team for patient safety and quality.
• Perform delegated clinical duties efficiently.
• Practice within scope of supervising physician privileges.
• Communicate assessment and care plans to patients and families clearly.
• Ensure continuity of care across services and throughput.
• Maintain compliance with clinical policies and hospital operations.
• Maintain licensure and Mount Sinai privileges as required.
