Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients and takes medical histories.
• Orders, collects, interprets laboratory tests and other diagnostics.
• Prescribes or recommends medical drug therapies following approved protocols.
• Develops and implements comprehensive patient treatment plans with physicians.
• Counsels patients and families about medical processes, medications, nutrition, and health promotion.
• Maintains records detailing treatment plans and outcomes.
• Provides consultation level services for conditions related to the provider's specialty.
• Manages patients in inpatient, emergency, or other healthcare settings.
• Performs invasive procedures as delegated by supervising Physician.
• Supports department coverage needs as required.
