Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician Assistant in Azle, TX to assist hospitalists with inpatient discharges, evaluations, H&P’s and follow-up visits, initiating appropriate treatment and testing for medical illnesses. The PA will counsel and instruct patients and families, document in the EMR, and participate in continuous quality improvement processes.

Requirements include Texas licensure as a Physician Assistant, a Master's degree, and strong English

Qualifications

• Texas licensure as a Certified Physician Assistant is required.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant is required.
• Strong verbal and written English skills are required.

The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The PA’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
