Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group in the Hurst/Euless/Bedford, TX area is seeking a Night Shift Hospitalist Physician Assistant to join a full-time inpatient team on the campus of Texas Health HEB.

The selected PA will perform inpatient evaluations, H&Ps, order tests, and round on rehab and LTAC patients, while documenting in the EMR and participating in QA activities. The night schedule is 7PM to 7AM, 7 on, 7 off.

Qualifications

• Texas licensed and licensed to practice as a PA.
• ACLS certification required.
• 2 years PA ICU/CVICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Ps and follow-up visits.
• Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for medical illnesses.
• Complete history and physical examinations on new admissions.
• Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients.
• Document using EMR system.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.
