• Strong verbal and written skills in English.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospitalists with inpatient discharges, evaluations, H&Ps and follow-up visits.
• Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for medical illnesses.
• Counsel and instruct patients and families regarding health issues.
• Document using the EMR system.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.
