Position Overview

TeamHealth is looking for a full‑time advanced practice clinician (nurse practitioner or physician assistant) to join the stable and established hospital medicine program at Hendrick Medical Center North in Abilene, Texas. The role will cover the swing shift (1p‑9p) Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Handle admissions during the swing shift with an average census of 5–7 patients.
• Provide comprehensive patient care as a primary clinician.
• Collaborate with the team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians to deliver high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant equipped to manage hospital admissions.
• Experience in acute or hospital medicine preferred.
