TeamHealth is seeking a nocturnist nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join Hendrick Medical Center North Campus in Abilene, TX. This full-time night-shift role operates on a 7pm–7am, 7-on/7-off schedule with about 15 shifts per month and flexible opportunities for additional shifts.

You will be part of a collaborative night team including a nocturnist physician and swing-shift clinicians, managing admissions and inpatient cross-coverage with strong support for acute care overnight.

• Average of 10–12 admissions per night across the team.
• Handle diverse patient populations from low- to high-acuity cases.
• ICU is closed and staffed by intensivists; emergency physicians provide procedural support as needed.
• Night responsibilities include patient care continuity and codes for own service-line patients.

Join the established Hospital Medicine team at Hendrick Medical Center North Campus as a full-time nocturnist advanced practice clinician. As a nocturnist nurse practitioner or physician assistant, you'll work a predictable 7-on/7-off block schedule (7pm to 7am), averaging just 15 shifts per month, with additional shift opportunities available for those seeking extra income. You'll be part of a collaborative night team that includes a dedicated nocturnist physician, swing-shift physician, swing-shift APC, and fellow nocturnist NPs and PAs, ensuring strong support throughout your shift.

Opportunity Highlights
