Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physician Assistant Certification and Arizona license.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license.

In this role, the provider will work alongside an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, APPs, social workers, and dedicated chaplain, to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients with serious illnesses.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be passionate about specialized palliative care and committed to supporting patients and families through complex, end-of-life situations. Key responsibilities include:

• Clinical management of palliative care patients
• Leading serious illness conversations with patients and their families
• Managing malignant pain and complex symptom control
• Providing inpatient end-of-life care
• Offering consultations on goals of care and advance care planning
• Collaborating closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team-based care model

Minimum Requirements:

• Current/Eligible Physician Assistant Certification and Arizona License
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance
