Job summary

Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Palliative Care team. The PA will work with physicians, APPs, social workers, and a chaplain to deliver compassionate, high-quality care for patients with serious illnesses.

The role centers on clinical management of palliative patients, leading goals-of-care discussions, and managing complex pain and symptoms. Full-time, daytime schedule with no call and no weekend shifts in a hospital-based setting.

Qualifications

• Current/Eligible Physician Assistant Certification and Arizona License
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance

In this role, the provider will work alongside an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, APPs, social workers, and dedicated chaplain, to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients with serious illnesses.
