Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires PA or NP credential and state license.
• Experience in general surgery preferred.
• Ability to work in clinic, inpatient, and OR settings.
• Excellent documentation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform histories and physicals for surgical patients.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging as allowed.
• Assess and educate patients preoperatively.
• Round on inpatients and manage postoperative care.
• Assist in operating room for procedures.
• Coordinate discharge planning with teams.
