Responsibilities

  • Perform age-appropriate history and physicals.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe treatments.
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and educate patients on conditions.
  • Facilitate referrals and chronic care management where needed.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and coordinate with ED team.

This position is specifically to improve care for patients being evaluated and treated in the ED.DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY: As a Physician Assistant, you are delegated the authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.JOB FUNCTIONS: Every effort has been made to make your job description as complete as possible.
