Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) in Tucker, GA, is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant in Dermatology to join our on-site team. You will manage your own patient panel and assist with MD follow-ups in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinic.

We value evidence-based care and a collaborative practice model. Requirements include an accredited PA program, Georgia licensure, NCCPA certification, and DEA/BLS; dermatology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Completion of Physician Assistant certificate program.
• GA PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required.
• DEA license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Dermatology PA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments.
• Provide treatment and develop care plans.
• Order diagnostic tests and medications as approved.
• Counsel patients and document in Healthconnect.
• Assist dermatology MD with follow-ups and procedures.

These services are provided by the PA under the supervision of an appropriate physician listed with the Georgia Medical Board.Under the supervision of a physician, the PA is responsible for the following: 1) conducting comprehensive physical examinations and assessments, 2) providing treatment, 3) ordering diagnostic tests and in some cases may (order) medications as approved by a physician, 4) developing treatment plans, 5) performing specifically identified diagnostic procedures, and 6) counseling patients.
