The International Executive Service Corps is hiring a Physician Assistant in Dermatology at Gwinnett medical center. The PA will perform assessments, treatments, and documentation, supporting patient care under a physician's supervision.
This role requires completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and a valid Georgia license. Additionally, advantageous experience in dermatology is preferred. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Physician Assistant – Dermatology
The Physician Assistant (PA) provides healthcare services that are typically performed by a physician and are under the scope of practice of that physician. These services are provided by the PA under the supervision of an appropriate physician listed with the Georgia Medical Board.
Under the supervision of a physician, the PA is responsible for the following:
The PA will clearly and accurately document all assessments, orders, procedures, treatment plans and patient education/counseling in Healthconnect.
In accordance with recommendations by the American Academy of Dermatology, when a PA is seeing patients a dermatology MD should be present and on-site, except under unusual circumstances such as illness or other clinical emergencies.
