• Serve as First Assist on cardiothoracic (CT) cases.
• Perform vein harvesting (EVH) as needed.
• Round on consults and postoperative patients.
• Clinic follow-up with post-operative patients; wound care and patient education.
• Assist on emergent cases as needed.

Role Specifics:

• Serve as First Assist on CT cases
• Vein harvesting (EVH)
• Round on consults and post-operative patients
• Clinic follow up with post-operative patient, suture/staple removal, wound care, and patient education
• Assist on emergent cases as needed

Qualifications:

• Completion of a physician assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
• Current PA-C designation
• Current IL DEA and Controlled Substance license
• Current AHA ACLS
