Job summary

Digestive Health Specialists is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our gastroenterology team. This position includes responsibilities in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, allowing for continuity of care across hospital and office environments.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C license in NC.
• NCCPA certification required.
• Gastroenterology, internal medicine, or hospital medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient follow-up visits and assist with ongoing management of GI conditions.
• Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Develop and implement evidence-based care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Document all encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Perform inpatient rounds and consultations in coordination with supervising gastroenterologists.

Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Responsibilities divided between hospital and office settings
