Bonham Solutions in Greenville, NC, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a mid-sized gastroenterology practice. The role is outpatient with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, no call, weekends or evenings.

You will evaluate and manage GI patients, coordinate care with physicians and APPs, and contribute to care plans and education. Competitive base salary with incentive-based bonus; strong team support and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage GI patients in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Provide patient education on digestive health and options.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Coordinate care with physicians and APPs to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Position Overview

An established and well-known gastroenterology practice in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join it's team. The practice is mid-sized, consisting of a handful of gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers. They offer a strong team-oriented environment with excellent clinical support and have a long history of training and retaining APPs in gastroenterology. Enjoy a Monday through Friday daytime schedule with no call, weekends or evenings working in their outpatient clinic. The group offers a competitive base salary with a generous incentive-based bonus structure as well. New providers are highly encouraged to apply as well as experienced candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions in an outpatient setting
• Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and ongoing care management
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide patient education on digestive health, treatment options, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
• Coordinate care with physicians, APPs, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a team-based environment
• Prior experience in gastroenterology or a related specialty (e.g., internal medicine, primary care) is preferred
• Open to training motivated candidates with relevant clinical experience and a strong interest in GI or clinical experience
