Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification (PA-C) required.
• Active Michigan state PA license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Previous clinical experience in a primary care, urgent care, or hospital setting preferred.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs
• Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions as appropriate
• Provide patient education on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Accurately document clinical encounters and maintain up-to-date patient records in the EMR system
