Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks a Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care in a Primary Care/Family Practice setting with day and night shifts. The role requires licensure, NCCPA certification, and ARC‑PA education, plus eligibility for Tier 4 clearance, to support a full‑time schedule and travel housing for eligible candidates.

Pay is specified with a base hourly rate and traveler stipend; fringe housing is included, and positions are full‑time with a 36–48 hour work week.

Qualifications

• PA licensure in state and NCCPA certification.
• Education accredited by U.S. Department of Education.
• Bachelor’s degree from ARC‑PA certified PA program or related combination.
• Arc‑PA certification with related health science degree or equivalent experience.
• Tier 4 security clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients, take histories, and complete paperwork.
• Evaluate and deliver care per SOP with follow‑up on sick calls or walk‑ins.
• Provide emergency/first aid treatment within scope until transfer to local system.
• Perform limited minor procedures (e.g., simple suturing, incision and drainage).
• Review cases daily or as needed for ongoing medical/pharmaceutical attention.
• Carry out physician‑supervised orders.

Education

Graduation from a PA program certified by ARC‑PA and a bachelor’s degree in health care or related science

Schedule and Pay

Full time, 36‑48 hour work week. Day and night shifts available. Pay: $61.50 + $4.57 per hour. Fringe housing and weekly stipend provided for travelers.

Requirements

• Any state license accepted.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Provider must be currently licensed in and a member of any State medical board providing licensure for PAs. No temporary license accepted.
• Must meet continuing education requirements for licensed state(s).
• Must have one of the following:
  • A bachelor’s degree from a PA training program certified by ARC‑PA.
  • Graduation from a PA program certified by ARC‑PA and a bachelor’s degree in health care or a related science.
  • Graduation from a PA program certified by ARC‑PA and progressively responsible experience (e.g., independent duty medical corpsman, LPN, medical technologist, or technician).
• Education accredited by an institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• PA must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Comfortable with all age groups 0‑99.
• Must have or obtain a BLS through the American Heart Association.
• PA must not have been convicted of, pled guilty to, or received probation before judgment for any crime other than a minor traffic violation whose record has not been expunged.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients, perform medical histories, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Evaluate and provide care per SOP, with medical follow‑up, on sick call or walk‑ins.
• Provide emergency and first aid treatment within scope of work until care is transferred to a local healthcare system.
• Perform limited, minor surgical procedures that do not require extensive care, labs, or radiographic studies (e.g., simple suturing of uncomplicated lacerations, incision and drainage of simple cysts).
• Review or reevaluate daily or as necessary those cases requiring ongoing medical/pharmaceutical attention.
• Carry out orders authorized by the physician supervisor.
