MainStreet Family Care in Oxford, NC is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to support multiple clinics with urgent care, primary care, and telemedicine services. The role welcomes new grads and values flexibility to work with different teams across clinics.

The position offers a mix of procedures, patient ages, and fast-paced care, with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing CME support. This PRN role emphasizes teamwork and high-volume patient care.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read).
• EKG interpretation.
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Treating patients of all ages.
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a high-volume environment, and is flexible working with different teams and clinics. New grads are encouraged to apply — haven’t taken boards yet? That’s okay too!

Responsibilities:

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule:

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
