Premise Health is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physician Assistant in New York, NY to deliver high-quality primary and preventive care at our health center near Central Park. The role features a stable, Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling meaningful patient relationships within a collaborative care team.

You will conduct exams, perform procedures, develop care plans, educate patients, order tests, and coordinate with physicians to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Licensure and board certification requirements for practice.
• Hands-on BLS/CPR and possibly ACLS training per contract scope.
• DEA license and state-specific registrations where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation

As a Full-Time Physician Assistant, you will provide high-quality primary and preventive care to client employees at our health center located in New York, NY, conveniently situated near Central Park.

This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to build meaningful patient relationships while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You'll work as part of a collaborative care team focused on delivering exceptional healthcare and promoting overall wellness in a professional, patient-centered environment.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable)
• Current NCCPA national certification required
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $155,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
