Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Heart Center team. The PA will collaborate with physician partners to deliver comprehensive care for cardiology patients and support procedures.

You must have an accredited PA degree, MD license in good standing, CPR certification, and at least two years of cardiology experience. Excellent communication and independent decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess Physician Assistant degree from an accredited school.
• Two years of experience as a practicing PA in a Cardiology Practice.
• Must possess a State of Maryland PA License, in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be computer literate and able to use various software programs.
• Must read, write and speak English clearly.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions when warranted.
• Strong communication with staff, patients and providers.

Responsibilities

Summary

Responsibilities

PA for the Heart Center at Mercy will work with Physician partners collaboratively to support heart center patients in assigned locations. The PA will see and bill patients independently, be able to supervise testing and handle result and clinical care management.

Requirements

• Must possess Physician Assistant degree from an accredited school.
• Two years of experience as a practicing PA in a Cardiology Practice.
• Must possess a State of Maryland PA License, in good standing.
• Certification Requirements - CPR.
• Must possess skills in the use of various computers and software programs and be computer literate.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
• Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
• Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Salary

Min: USD $51.03/Hr.
Max: USD $91.85/Hr.
