Job summary

Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care in Texas is seeking a Physician Assistant to float across South Region centers, treating both adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of urgent care needs.

The role requires at least 2 years in urgent care or emergency medicine, comfort with minor procedures, reading EKGs and X-rays, and strong patient communication.

You will work at multiple locations including Clear Lake, Fulshear, Sugar Land Riverpark, Katy Park, The Heights and more.

Qualifications

• PA: 2+ years of full-time experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations
• Comfortable with minor procedures (suturing, splints)
• Reading EKGs and X-rays

Responsibilities

• Float to South Region Centers (CSCs) to provide urgent care and acute episodic care
• Assess, diagnose, and manage adult and pediatric patients
• Order and interpret basic tests (EKGs, X-rays) and coordinate referrals when needed
• Deliver high-quality patient-focused care with strong communication

Physician Assistant - Float - South Region

Join our welcoming and diverse community of providers to work in our South Region Centers as Float Provider.

Due to our growth and expansion, Memorial Hermann - GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Physician Assistants who have urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients.

The Provider will be required to Float to any one of the following South Region Centers:

Clear Lake, Fulshear, Greater Heights, Katy Park, Manvel, Missouri City, Royal Oaks Centre, Sawyer Heights, Sugar Land Riverpark, Tanglewood, The Heights, Town & Country, West University

Our Advanced Practitioners (NP/PAs) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.

It is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary while going above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

Work Experience

• PA: 2 or more years of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants

Required Licenses/Certifications

• National Certifications
• Active state medical licensure
