Physician Assistant in ENT

Our Practice has been highly rated by Magazine’s Best Doctors and D Hall of Fame. Our Practice pairs innovative ENT care with individualized attention, helping patients understand their options and find lasting relief.

  • Learn directly alongside our doctor, with clinical and surgical training for physician assistants who are ready to grow. Prior ENT experience is not required.
  • Develop beyond clinical skills through ongoing education, monthly staff meetings, training, and leadership development.
  • Join a team that values candid feedback, shared responsibility, and lasting professional relationships.
  • Care for an engaged patient community in Dallas’s Bishop Arts area, supported by a Practice that makes patient education accessible through its digital and social presence.
Job Summary of what the Physician Assistant will do:
  • Evaluate ENT concerns, obtain histories, perform examinations, and contribute to diagnostic and treatment decisions in collaboration with the Doctor.
  • Participate across the patient journey, from initial assessment and treatment planning through office procedures, surgery, and postoperative follow-up.
  • Assist in the operating room and develop hands-on procedural skills in the office, within demonstrated competency, delegated responsibilities, and applicable credentials.
  • Explain treatment options and recovery expectations clearly; respond to patient concerns with empathy while maintaining sound clinical judgment and professional boundaries.
  • Collaborate closely with the physician, clinical team, and practice leadership; communicate changes in patient status, recognize your limits, and ask for support when needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, support continuity of care, and participate in the shared patient telephone call rotation.

Curiosity means approaching each patient with fresh eyes. Compassion means listening patiently and taking concerns seriously. Collaboration means staying engaged in the whole team’s success. We are looking for someone who brings all three to work every day.

  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, intellectual humility, and enthusiasm for learning hands-on clinical and surgical skills.
  • A genuine interest in both clinic and surgery. This position includes both settings; candidates should be comfortable participating in the operating room.
  • A receptive approach to coaching, direct feedback, ongoing education, and close physician partnership.
  • Graduation from an accredited physician assistant program, with strong clinical rotations and a solid foundation in patient assessment. New graduates and experienced physician assistants are welcome.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the Texas licensure, certification, prescribing credentials, and facility privileges appropriate to the position before performing the relevant duties.
