Job summary

Epic Pain Management in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our physician-led team. You will work alongside experienced physicians and clinical staff with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and dedicated clinical support.

You’ll develop individualized treatment plans for acute conditions and chronic pain, perform in-office procedures, document in EMR, and stay current with best practices in urgent care and pain management. DEA license and Texas PA licensure required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant in Texas.
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Pain management, orthopedics, urgent care, or primary care experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-management skills.
• Confident working independently with physician collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for acute conditions, injuries, and chronic pain.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Perform in-office procedures, including joint and trigger point injections, abscess incision and drainage, suturing, and splinting.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, efficient care.
• Stay current with best practices in urgent care and pain management.
