Job summary

Tapestry 360 Health in Chicago seeks a Physician Assistant to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care within a Federally Qualified Health Center. You will work with physicians, nurses, behavioral health, and dental staff to provide holistic care in a mission-driven setting.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in PA studies, IL licensure, NCCPA certification, and a current DEA license, with 2–3 years in primary care or community health. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Illinois.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Current DEA license (or ability to obtain).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care, internal medicine, or community health.
  • Experience working with underserved or diverse populations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care including history-taking, exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Provide preventive care and health education to empower patients in their health journey.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health, dental providers, and others.
  • Engage in outreach to improve access and build trust with patients and communities.
