• Participate in the training of residents and medical students.

Overview

Banner University Medical Group is recruiting full‑time and part‑time Anesthesiologists to join our team at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) in Phoenix, AZ. BUMCP is a level 1 Trauma Center that provides multi‑specialty care and access to top specialists in General Surgery, Robotics, Gynecological, ENT, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Endoscopy, and more. Our anesthesiology team supports a variety of operating rooms and endoscopy suites. The position is under the direction of Dr. Samuel M. Galvagno Jr., DO, PhD, Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology.

Position Details

• 1,848 hours annually for 1.0 FTE (8, 10, and 12‑hour shifts available with flexibility in scheduling)
• Base compensation of $489k–$499k plus additional incentives and call pay
• Unrestricted call compensation; several backup call positions available

• BC/BE Anesthesiologist
• Unrestricted AZ license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to obtain AZ DEA license
