The ideal candidate will have fellowship training and experience in Neuroanesthesia.

Qualifications

• Expertise in all aspects of Neuroanesthesia.
• Ability to manage various anesthetizing locations.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with a Neuro surgeon.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients alongside a leading Neurosurgeon.
• Support various anesthetizing locations including operating rooms.
• Participate in an anesthesia model that includes CRNAs under medical direction.

Job description

Banner University Medical Group is actively recruiting for a full-time NeuroAnesthesiologist with experience in Neuroanesthesia to join our team at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) in Phoenix, AZ. BUMCP is a level 1 Trauma center providing multi-specialty care with access to top specialists in General Surgery, Robotics, Gynecology, Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Endoscopy, and more.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a leading Neurosurgeon, providing comprehensive care to our patients. Our anesthesiology team supports various anesthetizing locations including operating rooms and endoscopy suites. Our anesthesia model includes CRNAs working under medical direction.

Under the direction of Samuel M. Galvagno Jr. DO, PhD, Chair, the Department of Anesthesiology is actively interviewing Neuro Anesthesiologists with a range of experience in Neurology Anesthesia to join our team. The ideal applicant will have expertise in all aspects of their specialty.

Qualifications:

• BC/BE Anesthesiologist
• Fellowship training in Neuroanesthesia
• 1,848 hours annually for 1.0 FTE (8, 10, 12 hour shifts available)
• Additional compensation with Unrestricted Call
• Unrestricted AZ license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to obtain AZ DEA license
