Job summary

Avera St Luke's Hospital in the United States is seeking a physician to join its multidisciplinary team. The role requires primarily daytime hours with on-call involvement during nights, weekends, and holidays, to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO with applicable board certification or eligibility and an active DEA license, and will collaborate with the care team to promote safety, confidentiality, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor licensed and board certified or eligible to practice in the applicable state.
• Doctor of Osteopathy licensed and board eligible to practice in the applicable state.
• Federal Drug Enforcement Administration license required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved medical protocols.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Interpret diagnostic information and plan patient care.
• Maintain patient records accurately and securely.
• Collaborate with care team for referrals and care coordination.
• Adhere to safety, environment, and policy standards.
