Pay Range

This range is provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Please consult with your recruiter for more details.

Base Pay Range

$200,000.00/year - $380,000.00/year

Summary

Duties

The anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia care to Veterans, Active Duty Personnel, and their dependents, including pre-operative assessments and direct anesthesia services in various clinical settings. Responsibilities include performing invasive procedures, maintaining certifications, providing risk assessments, obtaining informed consent, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Work Schedule

7:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Full, unrestricted medical license in any US State or territory
• Board certification by the ABA
• Proficiency in English
• Compliance with security and physical requirements
• Participation in vaccination programs as required

Qualifications

Applicants must meet basic requirements including medical degree from an accredited school, residency training approved by VA standards, and licensure. Physical Requirements

Walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and extended sitting are required.

Education

Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution. Foreign graduates must verify ECFMG certification.
